This structured and MASH-certified sober house serves men who are serious about their recovery and wish to live in a structured sober living environment as the next step in their recovery journey. This cozy sober living home provides access to all types of recovery resources in Brighton, MA. We invite guests from all walks of life to join this strong recovery community located near the heart of Boston. As part of our community, clients can participate in over 25 hours of structure offered every week at Tharros, including morning sober house meetings Monday through Friday, our 12-step immersion group, music groups, spiritual groups, and recovery work groups.

For others, after 1-6 months at Tharros, clients may choose to transition to Teras. LoPresti ParkLoPresti Park, is a newly refurbished, 4-acre waterfront park in the Maverick Square area. Contact Rise Above today to find out if there are any beds available in our program. Teras does not provide transportation, but you may have a car, and ubers are readily available. The house’s Boston location is ideally located on the border of Brookline and Newton just off Beacon Street in Cleveland Circle. Additionally, it is around the corner from the Subway B, C, and D green line.
